Poll: What should I write next?

November 14, 2017 Posted by ErisAdderly Uncategorized 2 Comments

Hey troublemakers!

Once I get done with Bass-Ackwards (oh? Did you not know I have a dub-con story in progress on Literotica?) it’s going to be time for me to settle back into something serious. But I have too many projects all clamoring at top volume in my head!

I currently have three—yes! three!—series in progress and, unless I clone myself numerous times over, I can’t write all of them at once, the way I sorely wish I could. So I was hoping YOU fine people who sometimes get your noses between my pages what YOU would like to see next!

I

Here are the options on the table:

The Carpenter and the Deckhand (The Skull & Crossbone Romances Book 4)

Length: Novella

Genres: Erotic Romance, Historical, M/M, pirates

The story of how Ellis George, carpenter aboard The Devil’s Luck, met and fell for Christopher Winters, deckhand and, as we will soon learn, clever spy. This is a Coming to Understand My Sexuality tale set in 1716, AND … is something I must write before I get to the sequel to The Devil’s Luck, The Merry Widow. So if TDL is your favorite and you want more Hannah and Benjamin Till and Captain Blackburn, you might vote for this one, as it’s got to happen first. The events in this one are super-relevant to the plot of the other!

Bloodnames (After Exile Book 2)

Length: Novel

Genres: Erotic Romance, Low Fantasy, Political Intrigue, M/F, F/F, BDSM

The continuation of the story arc of An Emperor for the Eclipse. This book follows Raothan Ga’ardahn as he now looks for ways to abdicate the throne he didn’t want in the first place without triggering a civil war within the empire. Physical and emotional journeys await for him and Niquel, more angst and mounting attraction grows between Bellora and General Ayzhus, the rift of distrust widens between Doxolemy and Janeva, and First Councilor Ptyverias hides some sordid secrets of his own. If you’re looking to find out what happens next for the whole crew in Novamne, this should probably get your vote.

The Mortal Coil: Medusa & Perseus (Flames of Olympos Book 2)

Length: Novel

Genres: Erotic Romance, Mythology, BDSM, Femdom

Each of the Olympos books features a different mythical couple. Book One was Hades & Persephone, this book will be Medusa & Perseus, book three will be Aphrodite & Hephaistos. I’ve changed the title on this book about 4 times already, and I might change it again, but the premise remains the same. In this one, I take vastly more artistic liberties with mythological canon than I did in The Eighth House. We all know Perseus was sent to kill Medusa, but my version takes a hard left when he arrives to do the deed: he falls in love with her, instead. Medusa has no interest in men, however. Her curse is a result of male treachery, and her trust is at zero while her scorn is off the charts. He vows to prove himself, she’s determined to scare him away. Even if they find love, how is that supposed to work when he’s being paid to bring back her head? And let’s not forget the fun and games of a relationship where neither party can look the other in the eye. Drama! With probable guest appearances from characters in book one. So if you want more dark mythology from me, this one is the way to go.

So there you go! Honestly, I want to—and will!—write all of these, but for now, I just need a direction. So please vote in the poll below and tell me which you want to read next!

Thank you!

    Hello Eris,

I want to start off and say your writing is absolutely captivating. I devoured The Eighth House book 1 in record time and eagerly looked to see if the second book was out…but it looks like it’s still in the works. So in the mean time I read Bass-Akwards to tide me over but I also blew right through that one! (What a steamy rollercoaster!) But I was wondering if you had an estimation on when you’ll get around to releasing the second book of Olympus? I just can’t wait to see what beautiful twists you have for that story.

    Love,
    Your eager reader

Hi there! I’m so happy you enjoyed Bass-Ackwards and The Eight House. 😀 I’m trying to release the next Flames of Olympos book late this summer. 🙂
