Bummer news, pirates.
Looks like due to some new guidelines for books enrolled in Kindle Unlimited, a story cannot both be in an anthology AND be published separately as a stand-alone on KU. Some of the authors in the anthologies I took part in have gone on to publish their individual novellas separately this way, and this means our anthologies had to be unpublished, as they are not compliant with Amazon’s terms. This was the more fair option, rather than asking several authors to take down their solo versions of the titles.
What does that mean for me? As of now, Mine, All Mine, As Flame to Smoke, and Four Bodies, One Van, No Names are no longer available. I’m sad to see them go, but I’m working on so many other exciting things, I am happy to just move forward.
I might release As Flame to Smoke as a solo novella at some point in the future, maybe in the fall, and maybe Mine, All Mine, but I’m not totally sure, since contemporary romance is not really the way I seem to be going these days. Four Bodies, well … heh. That was a really early work, just silly gratuitous fun, so I’ll probably just let that one go.
Update:
As Flame to Smoke is now available on Amazon (both to purchase and to borrow via Kindle Unlimited)
Mine, All Mine is now available to read for free on on Literotica.
BUT! New things are coming your way, and very soon! And please be aware that all my other books (except Gallows Pole) are already in Kindle Unlimited, so you can borrow and read for free if you have the service.
I really appreciate all of you fine people who went and bought our anthologies in the past and gave our stories a shot. You are the greatest, and you gave me confidence to keep doing this. I wouldn’t be here without you!
